I'm such a sucker when it comes to good 'ol Hard Rock tunes from the eighties, with all their components, cheesy lyrics, spandex and of course, hair spray.
The cover art might throw you away, because it's "sophistication" but don't be fooled, this is pure home made hard Rock from the eighties, just like the one your older brother used to like.

When I said I like Hard Rock, I didn't mean that was good, complex or mind-bending, is just hard Rock, as simple as that, and these guys are doing this, Hard Rock.
Simple yet catchy tunes could define this album, silly is the word I'm thinking for the lyrics, but is part of the music, I mean would you like a hard rock act with complex lyrics of such acts as Opeth of Dark Tranquillity? I don't think so! Just a peak of what I'm talking about, here's an excerpt from "Love In Hollywood" :

"Come on girls, look at me,
I'm your lovin' man
Drivin' my Cadillac, I'm the best,
I'm the king of pretty babes"

And later in the song:

"A girl like Marilin, Julia Roberts
Or maybe Demy Moore
But tonight I met you"

Damn, I'm sure that the girl of the song is going to be glad that if this guy didn't find Demi or Julia, at least he found her.. yeah, really flattering.

Sadly, or happily (just the way you see it) I'm always up for some Hard Rock, even if a watered down kind like this. Even if this is not the best band in Rock history, manages to keep you entertained, and it even have some good songs like "Young' N' Wild" and "Reach For The Sky" , it's full of clichés, yet entertaining.

Not the most influential record of all history, neither the most innovative, but hey, it's hard rock from the 80's what you were expecting? If the only thing in your mind is having fun, drinking beer and girls, girls and more girls, check out his one, this might be the soundtrack of your life.
