18:53 - Carrion Misery Same for me, but it is the reverse. I dreaded power metal until I started to sing along. The pure skill/talent involved is very inspiring.
18:49 - Apothecary A good 4-5 years ago I used to hate extreme vocals in metal, til I tried them out myself and realized how much effort and talent really goes into them. Loved extreme metal ever since :)
