1. Testament - The Dark Roots Of Earth
Thrash // Most anticipated. Return to form, my favorite band, everything seems promising.
2. Nile - TBA
Death // With "Those Whom The Gods Detest", Nile have got my hopes up for a good comeback in the form of 2012's opus.
3. Bilocate - Summoning The Bygones
Death Doom // Bilocate have really done extremely well with Sudden Death Syndrome, and this time they have everything at hand to make a great album, so shoot!
4. Havok - TBA
Thrash // "Burn" was fantastic, "Time Is Up" was great, so I hope they hit it high yet once again.
5. Black Sabbath - TBA
Heavy // I have a good feeling about this one, never mind that Ozzy could trainwreck this, but I feel they have this one chance to make something great, and with Heaven & Hell's work, some promise is shown.
6. Blut Aus Nord - 777 - Cosmosophy
Black // I'm getting introduced a bit to this black band and hopefully I will be already possessing much of this rather decent "777" series they've been going with to get this one chapter.
7. Kreator - Phantom Antichrist
Thrash // Kreator; I will always anticipate anything from them. "Hordes Of Chaos" was great, so let's hope for moar awesome material.
8. Sodom - TBA
Thrash // With their latest, Sodom have proven that they've got back on track. Now's a chance for moar awesome material.
9. Kiss - Monster
Hard Rock // "Sonic Boom" was decent, and my hopes remain well and kept for anything KISS.
10. Van Halen - A Different Kind Of Truth
Hard Rock // Van Halen is back. Breathe and hope for better, Strifeman.
11. Accept - Stalingrad
Heavy // After "Blood Of The Nations", Accept has proved it's back on track and better than ever. Let's hope its success continues!
12. Slayer - TBA
Thrash // Slayer still have everything at their hands for a good album. I don't want something great or magical, I just want a tight and convincing album from start to finish, because they can do even more than that.
13. Lamb Of God - Resolution
Groove Thrash // My magazine's staff have prepared me to review this album, and I'm really looking forward to review it after hearing some stuff from Ashes Of The Wake.
14. Oath To Vanquish - The Ruinous Fate Of The Blind
Blackened Death // Yeaaaaaaah. =D
15. Wintersun - Time
Extreme Power // Had to be here, yeah.
16. Meshuggah - Koloss
Math Thrash // Awwwright.
17. Necrophagist - TBA
Technical Death // Dude it's Necrophagist releasing a third opus. Fuck.
18. Cannibal Corpse - Torture
Death // Cannibal Corpse remains as a strong death metal band and I want to hear what they have to offer yet again.
19. Ensiferum - TBA
Extreme Folk // Ensiferum are still capable of putting out something good, and it'll be fun anyway to hear anything new from them.
20. Judas Priest - TBA
Heavy // I don't know what they're up to with K.K. out and their latest effort showing a few bad sides, but they could still hit it great because as I know they still kick ass in pretty much everything else.
21. Odious - Skin Age
Oriental Black // Great band from Egypt that has great potential. With oriental shit being quite awesome in 2011, and this band's previous decent release, I could just hope for greatness.
22. Scarab - Serpents Of The Nile
Brutal Death // Been on my want list since I ever knew the band. This band is beyond awesome and I have really high hopes on this record.
23. Toxik - TBA
Technical Thrash // Ultimate thrash band's revival, please succeed? (Props to people for telling me about a 2012 release!)
24. Overkill - The Electric Age
Thrash // Ironbound was awesome, let's hope this is the same. :D
25. Obituary - TBA
Death // Many think these great masters have given out, but I still have opposite hope. "Xecutioner's Return" was modern and good, and I believe they can do something to satisfy my ears this year.
26. Deeds Of Flesh - Portals To Canaan
Brutal Death // One of the two brutal death bands on my watchlist releasing 2012 material and one of the bands I really enjoyed between a wide selection of death bands. It'd be great and awesome to have them release an album for a starter like me to step into the discography in delight.
27. Spawn Of Possession - Incurso
Brutal Death // Second of the two brutal death bands on my 2012-watchlist drama-fest. They sound great and have got some good songs I enjoyed, so I can hope that this will continue my journey into brutal death.
28. Burzum - Umskiptar
Black // VARG, Y U NO MAEK MUSIC THAT GOOD NO MORE? Anyway, I still want to see what this is. :P

Lykathé

We can dream but I doubt we'll see it. A new !T.O.O.H.! is a definite possibility though.

Lykathé has just put out a compilation last year. A bit of activity.
