Havent listened to most of the albums here.
Will definitely check this out, am really curios as to why shape of despair, ahab, evoken, esoteric didnt make it here.
looking at the list I would think it's safe to say they didn't make it because the person that compiled it likes gothicy death doom more than funeral doom, which is probably too hard on the ears for the compiler. How else can one explain Draconian, Rapture, Virign Black being on the list and not any of the ones you mentioned? |

| Dance of December souls is a great album for old Katatonia. I still listen to their new stuff, though they're depressive metal or rock. |
