Yos's Favourite Albums - 2013 Edition List of my Favourite Metal albums of 2013
I have definitely found myself straying away from "classic metal" albums and have rather been drawn to albums which are more experimental.

Hellfest 2013: The Bands I Saw... And It Was Worth It ! Okay guys, Hellfest 2013 was awesome, and it's time to share with you the whole bands I saw during these 3 days of full Metal music...
Ordered by my preference, I will add my comment on each about my feelings (good or bad... but mostly f*cking good). Horns up and don't hesitate to share with me what you think of the band I mention or which you think I shouldn't have missed ! (I know, I didn't go to Primordial.... but too many band to see, despite the lack of "big ones" on the top of the bill, compare to 2011 for example) - Ah, and I hope that my English is not so bad

The Best 30 Songs To Play On The Drums! Hello this is my list of the best and most fun songs to play on the drums for me. The only rule I tried to keep it to two songs per band and has to be metal (or very close to it). Enjoy
Also the songs I didn't add, but are very fun are Liquid Tension Experiment: Paradigm Shift, Another Dimension, Blotted Science: Oscillation Cycles, and Rush: Spirit of the Radio.

Favorite Black Sabbath Albums This is my complete favorite list of Sabbath albums. Yes, it might be a little bit controversial due to the fact that I appreciate a little bit more the Tony Martin works (hence, Headless Cross is my no.1 favorite), but I strongly believe that the later Sabbath catalogue is very underrated and underapreciated. I do not get even up until today the whole Ozzy hype since stuff like Vol. 4 or Sabotage were just boring and even the other albums weren't that great either (except a couple of songs). In my opinion, the Dio and Martin years (well maybe except for Forbidden) are the best years for Sabbath. If I were to rank the best vocalists this band had, Ronnie James Dio will take the crown with Tony Martin close by while Ozzy would be only the 3rd in my rankings.

Top 20 Nightwish Songs I've been a fan of Nightwish ever since I started listening to metal. I never really faced the drama between NW and Tarja and the whole Tarja and Anette battle. So I loved both of their voices. My first Nightwish album was Once and I didn't really start listening to Anette after listening to WM and OTHAFA. I like Anette over Tarja. It's just a personal opinion of mine.

My Maiden hangover - songs I'd gladely see Iron Maiden skip during their live shows What's a Maiden hangover? You know a regular hangover, right? It's really bad, your head hurts and you feel ill. You know you still love beer, but you don't want it for a while. That's how I've felt about some Iron Maiden songs for a couple of years now. I've seen Maiden six times since 2005, and that's not even during the same tours. Still I feel like they play the same couple of songs over and over again. I can understand why, being a huge band with some monumental metal classics. But a little variety, please! I went to a show last night and thought during it "it's enough now". One of the best things about seeing the same bands over and over again, is to witness them play different songs. One that I haven't already experienced live. But this never happens with Maiden, we get like 1-2 songs they haven't played in a while. And its not just witnessing the same songs over and over again, it's the fucking same coreography during them too!
