Most ''brutal' recotd from this band, more agressive, more DM, if we look at chronology, seems to me band from litle softer went to brital sound and whit next one turn to softer
This is not my fav band record

That's because this was recorded in 1991,but released 1993. So they just release this between the first album and Tales

Yeesh, such a low rating! Doesn't surprise me I guess, since people here seem to prefer their post-death metal sellout shit. IMO this is their best release.

I don't think an album's rating deserves for the community's tastes to be insulted, but I have a different theory than simply it not being a "post-death metal sellout shit" album.

If this weren't an Amorphis release, it would likely have a higher rating. Their popularity came with their change in style, so most newcomers who explore their back catalog will find this so far removed from what get them into the band in the first place, and rate it low accordingly.

Well to me this was their worst from DM. albums are better, but I love when Joutsen came, if band wont change they would be underground band and lose a lot of fans maybe broke up and come back for live shows in 2016 as Stone, Abhorrence, Abhorrence, and 2-3 other well know bands what names I can not remember.
Sentenced and this band whit style change did it right

Well, kind of rephrases in nice words what Dangerboner put in his words, doesnt it?
People compare old Amorphis to new Amorphis and express in their rating which one they prefer, and to which degree.
