I'm probably going to sign up for an Egg one too that's for pick up the same location. Only $.50 more than supermarket eggs. I'd be crazy to not do that.
We grow our own vegetables and peaches but we know a friend with a cattle farm out here so we get from them but it’s not delivered, though that would be really nice
Cronos's demonic Lemmy impersonation, the punky buzzsaw riffs, the flailing percussion, the ridiculous evil imagery - Black Metal is far from perfect, but thrash, death, and black metal would be very different without it. It's a legend, it's a landmark, and no matter what you say, I'd much rather write a review of that album than the new Witchcraft.
I'm sorry but this just isn't working, there are are a few cool vocal lines hear and there because of his magnificent voice but that's it, nothing else.
It sounds bland and uninspired, and..I'm sorry if you read this Pelander and find it offensive..but..it sound a tad too much like unfinished demo songs.
If anyone wants to hear this man go solo I'd recommend his solo album Time instead 'Pelander - Time'.
Please Magnus..get the old gang back together and creat something like 'Legend' once again 🤘
Checked this one out to see what the fuss is about. Bear in mind I only listened to Witchcraft once before and didn't stick with me whatsoever.
Mix is oversaturated on tubes... His voice could use more grit and power - it's not bad but for a solo performance I find it a bit lackluster for this song at times. It does break nicely sometimes to add some flair.
The song being stuck on one theme is pretty much a reflection on depression itself and I do appreciate that. Feels like it's trying to evoke some old folk-blues vibes but it's not quite there yet.
Can't say it wouldn't have helped to add some quiet drumming there after about half of it and some vocal harmonies. 6.5/10
People being upset about the change of direction is understandable. If only the outcome would be stellar I'd welcome it happily.
Magnus Pelander i believe that he thinks that very little number of listeners will "get it".but magnus believe me....black metal isn't a good album.it's like a joke.
Finally listened to it and it must be one of the worst albums I've ever heard, maybe even the worst. This release I find even to be offensive towards the fans of Witchcraft, I mean, how does this release even relate to Witchcraft other than that it has Pelander's voice in it? -- in no other way, would be my answer, if that wasn't obvious
Thanks to Magnus for reminding with this album about how much can an album suck, though; we need albums like this every now and then as points of reference to define our better albums. Also great that "Free Country" wasn't a Witchfinder General cover because that would have most definitely been a major donkey ball sucking take on an amazing original song
