I'm not sure why this EP was released. It's just the first 2 tracks from the album they released 5 years ago. Does anybody know why bands would do this?

The only reason I could think of is something to sell for cheap at shows, but there are no shows right now. Will there be another EP in 5 years with tracks 3 and 4 from Wildfire?

There might also be a contractual obligation for the band to release x amount of albums (be it LPs or EPs) and since they didn't have anything new to showcase, this was slapped together to remain compliant.
