If you don't like symphonic metal albums, stop rating them. I assume a lot of users just see the low score and then discard it as a bad album without even listening to it. If so you're missing out because this album is way better than the low score it has and at least deserves a listening. Also this is nothing like Within Temptation for example. This is far more heavier. Sure, it has som cheesy synth solos here and there but nothing that gets annoying. And Song For Winter is a great song with a great chorus.
