I got like a third of the way through this and unfortunately this just isn’t for me. I’ve only listened to one other Xasthur album and though I wasn’t a huge fan I thought I’d give this a try. It was certainly different but felt more like a random collection of unfinished ideas than an album. This band is likely just not for me.

I would recommend you the works "The Funeral Of Being" and "To Violate The Oblivious" in particular. If you are more about traditional bm then even the debut "Nocturnal Poisoning" might be worth a spin.
