I think this might be their best so far; it doesn't feel quite so noisy in the black metal parts, but they arguably hit harder (particularly the title track), and the atmospheric/ambient parts still sound great

It has a certain blackened, doomy, dark ambient effect which reminds me of The Ruins Of Beverast. I can't say I'm all that into this album as a whole, I find it kinda dull for the most part tbh, but "Floods Carry our Coffins Towards Sunken Ships" is a particularly great track which stands out above the rest for me.
