Amaranthe's Helix was far too much for me at 14 songs, so I can only guess how this one will turn out.

Considering Amaranthe is one of my favorite bands of all time, I really want to like these guys. I really do. But good lord, they need a new lyricist. The musicianship is there, lot of pretty great melodies and Erica has a great voice, but most of their song lyrics absolutely kill it for me. I feel generous in giving it a 6. And it's only because the rest of the album is decent, besides the song lyrics. Like, they repeat a lot of the same words over and over again. Example: Outer Worlds and Expedition One.

Also, this:

For the sky??? okay dawg. Do it for the sky.
