This is some pretty decent funeral doom. Lengthy slow-tempo, crushing songs with genuine dark, grim, mournful soundscapes. The songs are long-drawn, slow and repetitively structured, but at the same time they don't feel like they needlessly overcome their stay. The saxophone is also used for really good effect here and not as a mere gimmick.
