This album really feels like a complete effort. Every song has its place and at least for me, there are no skips. It's brutal, but it relents here and there with some really beautiful melodies and clean vocals. Like some have said before, this album takes some experimental chances here. At first listen they definitely came across as odd, but after more listens, they are defining qualities and really just make the songs memorable. Highlights for me are Cross to Bear, Inexorable, Solitary, and Lucid Decapitation.
