This is first epic album saxon wrote,I mean the title iself proves that but it should have more epic titles and songs like they did with new albums almost conceptual titles,lionheart for example.I think songs like rock city and just let me rock has nothing to do with being crusader  but saxon is awesome so i forgive them

symbols of a age,a culture,a destiny and a great,powerful band,when I listened the album,I take a ride in Middle Age,the first pilgrims to America,with burning fire.The CD is a great sucess,extraordinary music,great riffs,powerful drums and a sensational bass.CRUSADER is my favourite.Please buy it now

Rubbish album. Apart from Crusader and the Sweet cover there's nothing to find here. It's for the most part very silly and sounds way to american for it's own good. Fight the good fight, believe what is right

Some metal fans take things too seriously. This album is fun, cheesy (in a good way), rocking, and in no way a bad album. Saxon achieved what they set out to do. Top marks.

IMHO it´s one of their weaker LPs. Still good and the song Crusader is an all time classic but there are a lot of fillers. None real bad but not outstanding either.
