An overlooked jewel... Correct me if I am wrong, but seriously, how many of those "core" fans of bands like Ensiferum or Equilibrium have already noticed Thyrfing exists and how many have listened to this great album? I believe not enough and I think it is unfair. Nowadays the genre called "folk metal" is quite popular, or more likely - "trendy," and there are tons of more or (usually) less quality bands playing in that style. I think the synths can get overbearing at times so they kind of remind me of Dimmu Borgir. I think the producer also worked on Enthroned Darkness Triumphant which is why it's very keyboard orientated, but it's still a solid album, lot's of enjoyable melodies and a great Viking themed album.

Re listened this again somehow artwork reminds me Månegarm, I like all here, but somehow vocals could be done in different studio ,
