Zakk Wylde never disappoints. Riffs heavy as lead, intricate, inventive solos, incredibly heavy sound of his guitar. The latest Ozzy Osbourne album is full of Zakk. What would it sound like if he didn't play on it? Wait. Zakk isn't here! Or, he is, he just changed his name to Gus G. I hear no difference. Either Gus G. is the best Zakk Wylde impersonator in the world, or he was too scared to show his own style while recording with the Prince of Darkness for the first time. Anyway, I trust that Ozzy knew what he was doing when he chose Gus to be his axeman. After all, he always hits the jackpot when it comes to guitarists: Randy Rhoads, Jake E. I have reasonable hopes for the new album, now that Oz has ditched Zakk and aqquired Gus G's services. Ozzy was right about his own stuff becoming ''too Black Label'', and I think getting rid of Zakk was really the best option available for him. Hopefully he can conjure up some magic with Gus. I'm still cynical that Ozzy can produce anything great again, but we'll see. 'Soul Sucka' is a pretty awful title though! 'Soul Sucker'' would sound a lot less silly imo.

As all of us know Ozzy Osbourne wont give an album with these points: Performance 2 Songwriting 2 Originality 2 Production 2 or any other possibilities which give us an average of 2! Its very hard to give a high or low points to any art. And as I remember this was mentioned in the writing a review FAQ (here in MS). So I just want to enlighten ppl like you to act a little bit mature when they vote. All Ive got from your post and your vote was: "I HATE Ozzy Osbourne", but in an amateur way.

Ozzy Osbourne...ummm...damn he is fuckin great! HE is like a god to me so had to listen to him and had to buy his cd...hmmm..now the comment on his album?!..well not a spectacular album. It sounds catchy n cruncy, but amazingly didn't move me to say 'hell yea!' y'knw wht i mean. The album catches u bt doesnt hold onto u..For me it is a must buy, but for other metalheads they wnt miss anythin great, jst tht they wud be ignorant of this OZZY's album. Rather try it than to be ignorant, eh!? I beg to differ on his ballads...mama coming home is an awesome ballad of his...whenever i listen to it dunno i feel it so much man..one is enough for me tht he can also do ballads...maybe he hasnt produced better than that one...bt isnt it good news?! HE'S METAL FROM TOP TO BOTTOM!...Runnin after money?!..does he have any choice?! HE loves his family and its the family which is makin him think like tht! Peace yo!

This album surprised me, it's great, the guitars and the music are groove and heavy. Recommended, way better than the previous 3.

This is a slight improvement over the previous album, but not by much, the songwriting is still very uninspiring, and the music itself is very bland imho. And although "Let Me Hear You Scream" is the main single off this album, and one of Ozzy's most well known songs, I really didn't think much to it at all, in fact I didn't think much to any of the tracks, that's including the bonuses. There are positives though, it's well produced, and Ozzy's vocals are still just as strong as they've always been.

One of the better albums of the "new Ozzy era". But well, far away from the quality of the 80s albums. Some song suck hard. Some are just forgettable. These are ok to good: Let It Die, LMHYS, Crucify (best on record) and Time
