Spellbound Dazzle? Really? Are we actually that short on unused band names now? Fair enough, the name actually makes sense in context with the music. It's clearly a band with a sense of humour. No, we're not talking about humorous music with abysmal results (ie Nanowar or Steel Panther). These guys manage to make extremely entertaining music, while still retaining the chops to be taken as a serious musical entity. Think Mr. Bungle meets Protest The Hero. Read more ›› |

Great stuff. A part of me really wishes they would get "wacky" more often, like on intro/outro, So Close and Ruska. Also, the singer sounds a lot like Chris Cornell... but if he took one too many of Mike Patton's goofy pills, which is a good thing.

I'm kinda in love with this album lately. I've been listening to it non-stop. Anyone else thinks the vocals on "W.I.T.M. (When I Touch Myself)" sound like Daniel Gildenlöw?

Posts: 278 Written by Boxcar Willy on 17.03.2012 at 17:50 From what I read in Doc's interview with Spellbound Dazzle(http://www.metalstorm.net/pub/interview.php?interview_id=633), its actually kinda stand-alone in the opinion of the band as compared to the rest of the album, so I wouldn't judge the album on that song alone. As the others have said, great pick, really enjoyed it so far.
