Well, not quite surprised me with "oh, i have listened this stuff so many times by some other acts" record. I don't why there so much hype around this album, as it sounds to me pretty okay-ish. No big deal. May be deep prog aficionados could make out their pros and cons of this album much perfectly but to me it's just sounds, as i said, okay. Honestly, i've heard much better records than Lifewoven.

Immolation is the best song in this album for me. That jazz moment was unnexpected and very interesting. By the way, I don't think they are mature yet, they can improve this style and grow into one hell of a band. I'm waiting for their next release.

I would like to give this album more than 6, but seriously, the harsh vocals ruined this album. It would had been better if it was just an instrumental album or just the clean female vocals IMO.

Either way, you can't dock points for a band trying something different, alot of genres get quite bland and is refreshing to see prog rock and metal fused together. The vocalist sounds a bit like the singer from Wolves in the throne room..
