A new album from Immortal, and as we could thougthfully wait, a new step in their evolution. No matter to talk about the production, as a matter of fact the Abyss Studios (and Peter Tagtarten) are the best recording studios now, and the collaboration with Immortal is close to perfefction. So let's look to the news in this album. Frist of all we have a new bassist: Iscariah, coming from Enchanted wich made a great work and gives a new weigth to the bass lines troughout the seven songs performing a spectral sound (listen to the first minute of "Against The Tide" to understand what I mean). So far weakest Immortal album(to be honest I dont remember ''All Shell Perish'' so well) but from 1th till this, this is weakest, seems to me band lots ''winter'' thematic, but still its Immortal, whit little bit softer sound , but still 95% bands when reach such level, degredeted and play shitty music, Immortal even whit week album still kicking and creating chaos and winter storms and play good black metal , what is true

This and Sons of the Northern Darkness are like a double album. Very similar, but the latter gets far more attention. This is one of their best (of the later stuff).
