Really solid end to the year for Alex Poole after Skaphe and Chaos Moon. First time that I know of that he's doing just vocals, but his performance is on point and the guitar work of Blackburn ain't too shabby either. Pretty great work considering that it features a relatively more traditional take to black metal songwriting. Definitely a strong example of how to make a more orthodox approach sound refreshingly modern and interesting
