Staff review by
Oranssi Pazuzu and Dark Buddha Rising, Finnish masters of psychedelic metal, have collaborated in the past as Atomikylä, with fairly impressive results. But Waste Of Space Orchestra? This is something entirely different. Something truly special.

So did they upload the visuals somewhere? Because those were fun. And I missed the first few minutes.

Nicko's Nose

One of the best and most original metal albums of the year. Of course it can't even get an 8 on here.

Yeah I get giving this a 5 at the very least (I guess?), but.... a fucking 1 or a 2 for this jewel? Holy fuck

Having received the recommendation for this album from Doom Metal Category in MS Awards, I heard the whole album a few number of times and was a bit perplexed as to why this album was in Doom rather than Drone category. The album itself is extremely enjoyable and is oozing with creativity. It somehow reminded me of a few songs of Ufomammut. Some of the bits are chanty, there are also repetitive segments which enhances and characterizes each song. Majority of the songs start slow and then culminates into a predictable chaos which sounds delightful when experienced first hand. My personal favorite is Infinite Gate Opening.
Leeches everywhere.
