Kayt Vigil is an American bassist who began her career in the early 1990's. Her most noted works were those of both Pentagram and The Hounds of Hasselvander in 2007-08 with live performances, as well as her contribution on bass to Pentagram's track "Flaming" on the Syd Barrett tribute compilation CD titled "like Black Holes in the Sky" released by Dwell Records in 2008. Other projects she has been involved with were : Zed(heavy down-tuned crust metal from Philadelphia, PA 1995-1999), Catheter(Denver, CO based grindcore1999-2000), Syzslak (doom-grind from Philadelphia, PA 2001-2006), Hatchetface(all-female doom from Philadelphia, PA 2006-2010) and ...Of The Horizon (heavy psychedelic blues rock from Los Angeles, CA 2010-2012). Currently, she lives in Italy with her husband Vita Mammut, the drummer of the famed heavy psychedelic doom outfit, Ufomammut. Together, they share two bands that are preparing to record and tour in the near future- Rogue State (early 80's influenced HC with heavy elements infused) and Tsutar ( psychedelic dirt rock with a heaviness and a strong 70's influence).
