Ketos is a melodic thrash metal band from Belfast, Northern Ireland. A complex combination of duelling guitars, heavy riffs, blistering solos, pounding drums, heavy growling and melodic vocals, Ketos is an unapologetic explosion of violent rage and furious anger.

Having launched in January 2017 after recording their first E.P 'Rise', they have been playing the club scene North and South of Ireland, where the floor has always been moving and their heavy grooving style well received.

Their debut E.P was reviewed by Uber Rock and was said to "roar and slash with unbridled savagery", and debut live performance was said to be "tighter than the mud on a gravedigger's shovel".

The band name, which is a term for the ancient Greek mythological Kraken, represents their sound, which mixes old school thrash with new wave ideas to give a unique sound that is as refreshing as it is crushingly heavy. They have been likened to Testament, Killswitch Engage, early Trivium and Arch Enemy.

Ketos signed to Hostile Media in 2019 for their release of 'First Strike', their debut LP which will be released on 26th April 2019.
