A Turkish one-man Black Metal band, Ohol Yeg, was formed in January 2015 in Malmö, Sweden. However, the band is based in Ankara, Türkiye. The only member has been Sazakan on all instruments ever since and all production of music and visuals belong to him.
The band is renowned for fusing raw and atmospheric black metal with the rich tapestry of Turkic mythos. Ohol Yeg has carved a distinct niche within Türkiye’s underground black metal scene. With a dedication to preserving authenticity and an ever-evolving artistic vision, Sazakan’s work continues to influence black metal in Türkiye with a unique taste.
The band has no connections with Satanism. The main themes for lyrics, albums and song structures are: Nihilism, Absurdism, Nature, Misanthropy, Turkic Mythology, Impiousness, Anti-religion.
OHOL YEG does not follow a strict framework nor a "trending way" for Black Metal and intends to create a bigger picture of it as a side purpose. The depth of music and its energy are above all.
