Biography
Warhorse was a stoner doom band that formed in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1996, and released two demos (Warhorse and Winter in 1997 and 1998, respectively), later debuting with an EP entitled Lysergic Communion in 1999 and The Priestess in 2000, before releasing their first and only full-length As Heaven Turns To Ash in 2001 on Southern Lord Recordings.
They released a vinyl EP the following year entitled I Am Dying on the same label before dissolving for good in 2005.
Not much is actually known about the band, but its members had been members of local bands such as Desolate and Afterbirth and Terry Savastano in the very well known sludge/doom band Grief (USA).
