Biography
The band was founded in 2007. After rehearsing for a few months, the first EP was recorded at Bakery Studio.
The concept from beginning was to create a unique mixture of various genres and styles, somewhere between rock and metal, a touch of dark/gothic and also industral/electro elements, but you can even hear some oriental or "soundtracky" here and there.
Dharma started playing more and more live shows in Autumn 2007 and the first reviews oft he EP were published around this time. 2008 already began with a tour as supporting band oft the Hungarian band "Road".
On 27th of May 2008 272-records, founded by the creators of Club Fiend (Hollywood, CA) released a compilation called The Funeral Vol. 2. which includes the Dharma song "Saviour". In the meanwhile, the band's first artistic-apocaliptic video "Icon" has been finished
The first full length album called "Heavenly Hell" was released in 2009 under ,"Hammer Records", the label of the Hungarian ,"Metal Hammer" magazine. At the end of this year, an album release party took place as supporting act for Deathstars und Sonic Syndicate, followed by another tour and several festival gigs during the following year.
"Heavenly Hell" was nominated for the Hungarian Metal Awards as Best Debut Album oft he Year.
In February, Dharma went on a French tour and the song Closest To was published on a French compilation album called Des filles et des riffes , together with bands like Epica and The Birthday Massacre, and also featured in a book about female metal singers.
Later this year, the new 4 song EP "NRG" was recorded.
In November 2011 the band parted ways with the former singer Nicia, who was then replaced by Ani Ritzel. Ani successfully debuted live at Gothica Festival 2012.
In April 2012, the refreshed line-up finished recording the second full length album ?Dharmageddon". The album was featured as special CD insert in the July/August issue of the Hungarian Hammer World Magazine (NAIL Records).
In October 2012, Dharma finished their new video for One by one:

2013 February: Dharmageddon was released in France as well by MVS Distribution, Dharma started a promotional tour in France with Khynn and local French bands.
