ThermiT was officially formed in 2009. The band firstly played instrumental thrash metal. It was not until 2011 when Trzeszczol, as it turned out, one of the best Polish vocalists in the heavy/thrash genre, joined the band. After recording the first demo: Demo'N'Beer. ThermiT has won a few Polish festivals and was awarded the main prizes many times, including the best instrumentalists awards and best vocalist awards. It confirmed the ThermiT's strong point - a non-standard approach to the construction and composition of the songs that stems from the instrumental beginnings.

2013 brought many milestones, with Fabian who joined ThermiT on bass. That formed the band's sound even more solidly what is confirmed by the Encephalopathy EP that was relased in October 2013. We didn't play many support gigs, because at first we didn't have the right connections. Then, all of sudden, everybody wanted us to headline gigs! ThermiT will kick everyone ass soon!
