Haken went on stage very early in scorching heat, but they did very well. I was never a big fan, but they converted me somewhat.
Mastodon ruled. They actually looked genuinely happy to be on stage, following the separation with Hinds. The highlights were "Blood And Thunder" (duh) and Sabbath's cover of "Supernaut", with Brann Dailor nailing the vocals.
Dream Theater were perfect technically (aside fromm LaBrie, naturally), and played a two-hour set. "Peruvian Skies"
had excerpts of "Wish You Were Here", "Wherever I May Roam", and "Black Sabbath". It got very emotional when they dedicated "The Spirit Carries On" to Ozzy, who had died the previous day.
