Moeha, what an evening

I arrived around the beginning of the Legion Of The Damned performance, so I missed Watain (damn traffic jams).
Somewhere regrettable since I would've liked to see them once. Their new album is fairly good, actually. Plus, I heard from some other guys, they were pretty good too. Mixing old and recent stuff. And with a nice stage act too.

Whatever. Back to Legion Of The Damned. "Elegy Of The Weak" (released under their previous name) and "Malevolent Rapture" weren't that bad, I found. Especially their sound and style are more than decent. But I won't deny I seriously detest the vocals.
But yesterday the vocals didn't bothered me that much, so IMO LOTD is one of those bands who are to be called better live than on an album. They also played some songs from their latest "Sons Of The Jackal", who seems to lie in the same line as MR.
Overall, not a bad show, and a good (but nothing more) support act.

Then to Mighty Celtic Frost. They literally played a High Mass in Metal last night, of course with corpse painted faces. Already from the second song I knew this evening could only become better and better. Celtic Frost played a very good show, and they were not far from completely blowing me away. What a band, what a band! I definitely want to see them again, and I recommend the same to everyone. Amen to that.

Kreator still have it, and they proved it once more last night. I won't spend many more words on describing how great they were. The setlist was amazing (although I missed some songs), the pit was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing, Kreator was amazing. Kreator simply owns. There.
Also, they announced they will begin working on a new album after this European Tour. Yaay!

Then a few more thoughts I want to get off my chest. To the technician people of Hof Ter Lo: learn how to work with lights!!
To all Europeans reading this, make sure you can go to this tour

All in all I got what I came for: a fucking great night, a stiff neck and a Kreator hood.

interesting that it looks like Celtic Frost played before Kreator as well (I would prefer that) so I hope they do the same here
