I think the top 20 of 2024 looks better than the top 20 of 2023, but, personally I don't think my favorites of 2024 exceed those of 2023

Exactly @Vellichor I find it hard to imagine getting inspired to do music like that in a dry 35 degree heat swatting fly's

I forget they are from Australia, their music definitely leans more toward the black/folk sound of Scandinavia
