Would love to go to this, but I'm really struggling to find someone I can go with who can drive!

Well for the longest time I was gonna be able to make this show, but a few hours ago I found out that was no longer the case.

i'm gonna "curb your enthusiasm" but i've seen Manowar twice, and watched a few of their concert performances, and i've noticed a pattern sadly: when they really want to put on a show and play only kickass material they can pretty much bring the whole place down, like in their record 5 hours performance in Kavarna or the Earthshaker Fest performance in 2005. but half of the times they put on fairly half-assed concerts, with superficial preparation, bad sound quality, gratuitous and meaningless bass solos, and weak setlists. i think (though i hope i'm wrong) that most of the concerts on this tour fall in the latter category.

Yeh, I've seen Manowar once and enjoyed it. I have seen the setlist for this Birmingham show, and it seemed pretty good - but I was just wondering what he thought of it having been there...

The gig was amazing. Manowar sounded fantastic and Eric's voice has never sounded better. It was an absolute pleasure to see and hear. They promised they would come back so lets hope it doesn't take as long this time.

I pretty much echo all of Dark Seraphim's thoughts. I've never heard a band sound so good live and the setlist was great, particularly chuffed that they opened with "Manowar" and also played "Fighting the World"!
