After returning from hiatus in 2014, Atreyu released a new album last year called Long Live. However, on their next tour they are going back to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the record A Death-Grip On Yesterday this May. They will embark on a tour with support from Islander and Sworn In. The U.S. metallers will play the entire album on these dates.

We are deeply saddened to bring you the news US metalcore outfit Atreyu will be put on ice for an indefinite period of time, though not breaking up.

Vocalist Alex Varkatzas tweeted as follows: "Atreyu is taking a long long break after 11 years of rocking. We aren't breaking up but... We aren't writing recording or touring for a while. Simply taking a break to recharge and focus on different parts of our lives. Thanks to everyone who has supported us and given us a reason to exist over the past 11 years. We hope to see you again one day. All of us have other projects we are excited about and urge you to check them out if you miss us too much."

US metallers Atreyu have posted online a new song, "Stop! Before It's Too Late And We've Destroyed It All", on their MySpace page.

The song comes off the band's forthcoming album, "Congregation Of The Damned", which will be released on October 27 via Roadrunner Records.
