He fronted Opera IX for 11 years until 2014, having recorded the band's last album, 2012's Strix Maledictae In Aeternum. Condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace.

"Mandragora", a new video from Italian black metallers Opera IX is now available online (half of it) at the band's official website. It was censored from YouTube. The song comes off the band's upcoming album Strix Maledictae In Aeternum, due out on January 24th, 2012, in Europe and February 28 in North America via Agonia Records. The cover artwork for the album was handled by renowned artist Kris Vervimp (Enthroned, Marduk). It was mastered at Necromorbus Studio in Sweden by Tore Stjerna (Deströyer 666, Watain).
