Nuclear Assault bassist Dan Lilker recently announced that the band is "pretty much wrapping it up", following the band's upcoming appearance at the 'Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Philly' in June, where they will perform their classic 1986 debut album Game Over in its entirety, and Lilker has revealed that it will likely their last-ever U.S. show. If this is the case, it will not be the first time that Nuclear Assault have quit; the band first broke up after the release of 1993's Something Wicked, and have reunited occasionally before and since the release of their last studio album to date, Third World Genocide (2005).

Nuclear Assault have recently shared a new song that will appear on Pounder, their first new release in a decade. A lyric video was created for the new track "Analog Man In A Digital World" to showcase the music. The four-song Pounder EP from the thrashers is now available for download. Almost ten years later, Nuclear Assault are releasing new music in the form of a new EP. Called Pounder, it will contain 4 old school thrash tunes written by bassist Dan Lilker and guitarist/vocalist John Connelly. The release date is set for June 1st, 2015. Don't forget that the band's latest album was Third World Genocide (2005). Get ready for this new nuclear assault.
