Norwegian progessive metal outfit Leprous have released their cover of a-ha’s 1985 classic synth-pop track "Take On Me" on streaming platforms. The track was created during Musora’s "Covers On The Spot" challenge, which tasked the band with reworking the classic by their fellow Norwegians in a single day. Progressive metal maestros Leprous are pleased to announce the coming of their new, 8th studio album entitled Melodies Of Atonement, to be released in August via Inside Out Music. The band recorded the new music output in past few months with David Castillo at Ghost Ward Studios in Sweden, while mixing with Adam Noble and mastering with Robin Schmidt. Cover artwork was created (based) on photography by John Dolan. Further details will be made available soon. In the meantime, Leprous already announce a first North American headline tour with special guests Monuments and opening act Fight The Fight.
