British veteran thrashers Hydra Vein recently announced that they have signed to Iron Shield Records and will release a new EP this October called Perpetual Violence Machine. It will be the follow-up to their 2022 comeback album Unlamented. More info in due time.

British thrash metallers Hydra Vein announced on their Facebook page that they will enter the studio in February, 2025 to begin recording the follow-up to 2022's Unlamented, which will mark the debut of their new singer Ross Curry. The record is expected to drop in the summer of 2025.

After revealing the details of their comeback album Unlamented several weeks ago, British thrash metal legends Hydra Vein just released a lyric video for one of the new record's songs "Age Of Plague". Unlamented comes out on October 14th via Back On Black, and it will be the band's third full-length album in a row, following Rather Death Than False Of Faith (1988) and After The Dream (1989).

The record also introduces a brand new lineup, with bassist Damon Maddison and guitarist Danny Ranger as the only remaining original members.

Reunited British thrashers Hydra Vein have been tracking their long-awaited third studio album at Ijland Studio in Amsterdam, which will be their first full-length record since 1989's After The Dream. It will include an all-new lineup (with bassist Damon Maddison and guitarist Danny Ranger as the only remaining original members) and the band stated in a recent post on Facebook they are hoping to have it released this October.

They have also revealed that, other than founding members Dan Ranger (guitar) and Damon Maddison (bass), the lineup for the record includes James Manley-Bird (vocals), Henry Pol (guitar), Jonas Voorspoels (guitar) and John den Buitelaar (drums). Hydra Vein was a short-lived British thrash metal band that only released two albums, Rather Death Than False Of Faith in 1988 and After The Dream in 1989. Then in 1990 the band broke up but after 29 years they decided to reform. Hydra Vein will take a part in next year's Brofest.
