Swans have announced details of the newly announced European tour in autumn, following the release of their seventeenth studio album Birthing, due out via Mute / Young God Records (N. America) on 30 May 2025. The tour, which starts in Leipzig on 23 October will be the last “big sound” Swans tour, with a line-up of: Michael Gira, Kristof Hahn, Dana Schechter, Larry Mullins, Phil Puleo, Christopher Pravdica, and Norman Westberg.

Swans are premiering "I Am A Tower" single, which serves as a first taste of their newly announced long player Birthing. The latter will land in stores on May 30th, 2025. The 8-piece music output was produced by Michael Gira, recorded at Soundfabrik Berlin by Ingo Krauss, mixed at Candy Bomber Studio and mastered by Doug Henderson at Micro-Moose in Berlin, Germany.
