Waltari - Announce Anniversary Album With Special Guests

Waltari are present at the Finnish rock/metal scene since 1986, and their first release was a self-titled EP back in 1988. However, they consider Monk-Punk as an album that defines their style, so that's why their newly announced anniversary album is entitled 3rd Decade - Anniversary Edition. It consists of re-recorded songs from their previously released albums (as well as remixes & new track), featuring several guest musicans with whom they collaborated for this special release.

Ufomammut - Drummer Leaves, Indefinite Hiatus

Deathstars - Reunite With Cat Casino, Working On New Album

Lorna Shore - First Song With New Vocalist Online

Circle Of Dust - Announce New Album

Some fans of Circle Of Dust have been waiting for this moment for almost 20 years. Klayton, the mastermind behind this industrial metal project, just announced that following remastered content he will release a new album called Machines Of Our Disgrace, just like one of the singles on December 9th, 2016. It's the first Circle Of Dust album since 1998. Klayton decided to reactivate his very first music project after he got back the rights for previous albums.

Scale The Summit - Bassist And Drummer Leave The Band

These are rough times for Scale The Summit. According to statements posted on their Facebook page, drummer J.C. Bryant and bassist Mark Mitchell have left the progressive group to pursue other projects, leaving Chris Letchford as the only member of the band. Both statements can be read below. Meanwhile, guitarist Chris Letchford has announced a new drummer for the band, Charlie Engen. New music is in the works for their next album as well.

Waltari - Celebrating 30th Anniversary With Special Show

It's not very common amongst bands to survive that long. 30 years ago Finnish metal band Waltari has been formed. More - they're active since that day. That's why they're gonna play a special anniversary live show on October 21st, in Kulttuuritalo, Helsinki. Also, past members of Waltari will be present on this gig, same with some guests and band friends - Dregen from Backyard Babies, Angelit, opera singer Johanna Rusanen-Kartano, Marko Annala from Mokoma, Bazie from The 69 Eyes, Jonne Järvelä from Korpiklaani and Antti Hyyrynen (Stam1na).

Immortal - New Album Update, Demonaz To Handle Vocals

After last year's drama, Immortal is still alive. More, they've completed the writing process of their brand new album! According to their latest statement, the upcoming release "will be their darkest and coldest album in a long time: pure Blashyrkh metal the way their fans know it, with massive majestic riffs, grim frostbitten vocals and tales from they mighty realm. Fast and furious tracks, epic tracks and longer playtime than any of their previous albums." Founding Immortal member, lyricist and guitarist Demonaz is now also handling the vocals. They also accuse Abbath of using their songs for his solo album.
