Cleveland-based groove metallers Chimaira have released a new video clip for their upcoming 2013 album Crown Of Phantoms, which will be in stores on July 30th via eOne Music. The chosen song for the video was "No Mercy" and you can watch it right now. It was directed by Patrick Finegan. I thought it was pretty fucking crushing at times but some very interesting segues that might have gone a bit too far or maybe not far enough to get what they were shooting for. I give it a 7 maybe 8 and see if it grows on me... hopefully the rest of the record brings that same attack. You cannot deny how good a guitarist Werstler is.

You can definitely discern the influence he has on them- dissonant chords and chromatic scales...curious to see how the rest of the album will turn out
