The Band states: "It is with profound sadness that we have to share the heartbreaking news that our longtime bassist, brother, and dear friend, Erik Mortensen, passed away last night (14.07.26) after a short time of illness.
"For more than two decades, Erik's musicianship, dedication, and friendship helped shape this band into what it is today, but above all, we have lost someone we loved deeply.
"Our thoughts are with Erik's family, loved ones, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, Erik. You will never be forgotten!"
