The new Carpathian Forest opus seems closer on the horizon now that the Norwegian black metallers have announced that they are rehearsing new material for their next album. Now it's a matter of picking and choosing the best songs. The last album the band released was in 2006, Fuck You All!!!! Caput Tuum In Ano Est.

The band's latest update: "Carpathian Forest has finally started to rehearse material for a new album. We have a lot of material to go through after all these years of silence. We focus on picking the best from this material to make one hell of an album."
