Thanks to the efforts of the band's other vocalist, Igor "Cache" Lobanov, and a fan who rushed to her aid, Nookie managed to avoid any life-threatening injuries and regained consciousness in the hospital the day after the attack. She is now able to eat and drink again, and has begun the process of rehabilitation. The band launched a Planeta campaign last Wednesday to help offset the cost of medical bills; the campaign reached its goal within hours and is now at nearly triple the hoped-for amount.
Needless to say, The SLoT have canceled their engagements for the foreseeable future while Nookie recovers. They have continuously thanked all those who send their support, as well as the doctors who attended to Nookie, and encourage their fans to donate blood for the care of others who are in need of it.
