Decapitated - Involved In Serious Van Accident

Polish death metallers Decapitated are currently touring in North America with Gwar but unfortunately they reported today that they had a serious van accident this Friday. The good news is that they are all okay and the tour will continue despite the accident and the state of their van.

Short statement from the death metallers: "Decapitated was involved in a serious van accident on Friday afternoon on their way to a show in House of Blues, New Orleans, LA. We are all ok (two persons were hospitalized and released after a few hours) and we will continue our tour with American Sharks and Gwar. This time we were lucky."

This brings back to memory the tragedy that happened in 2007, when a tour bus accident took the life of Decapitated drummer Witold "Vitek" Kiełtyka, and gravely injured the band's lead singer, Adrian "Covan" Kowanek.

No one died, people hospitalized were shortly released and from the looks of things the only thing that suffered damage is their van.

These guys had some serious crash few years ago, that's why I am so mad because of the next one. And how the hell you CAN'T be luckier? Of course you can, you can just avoid any accidents on the road.

Taking into account that the band already suffered some years ago another severe accident which took the life of one of their members and seriously injured another one... yes, I think they could be at lest a little bit luckier.
