The sad news continue as Australian death/doom metal act The Slow Death have shared that their vocalist Gregg Williamson has passed away due to heart failure. This happens at the time the band is about to release their new album Ark in January on Chaos Records. They are now dedicating the album to Gregg Williamson.

Stuart Prickett released this statement: "It is with great sadness that I must give the news that our vocalist and my best friend Gregg passed away last night due to heart failure. He was one of the greatest guys you could wish to meet and it was an honour to have created our music with him. He will be missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts are with his family."
