Hyperion - Plan To Record New Album This Summer
Hyperion, melodic black metal act from Sweden, have announced that they will enter the Wing Studios this summer to record their second studio album. This one follows their 2016's output Seraphical Euphony.
Statement from the band: ''And so it has been decided. On the 27th of July, Hyperion will enter Wing Studios to commence the recording of the second full length album. Anders will start with the drum recordings and the other instruments will follow shortly after. This time, we will have even more professional assistance from Sverker Widgren, the man responsible for mixing and mastering Seraphical Euphony.
"We have quite a gargantuan task ahead of us and it has taken us a long time to get this far, but all of us strongly believe in the material we have created. We are looking forward to hear how the songs will grow even more in the studio!"

This is great news. Hyperion is such an underrated band. Seraphical Euphony was one of the best albums of 2016 and I still listen to it often so I have high hopes for the new album.
