Deafheaven - To Release New Full Length In August, Launch First Track


Americans Deafheaven are back with the new album announcement. San Francisco based metal act proudly present the release of their next full length effort, dubbed Infinite Granite. August 20th has been set as the release day of this 9-piece music offering. "Great Mass Of Color" song serves as the first taste of what to expect.

Intriguing! I wonder if this will prove to be one of the more mellow tracks, or if they are continuing in that direction in general. Hoping the former... it was a beautiful track and all, and I'd happily listen to an album like this, but I was glad when it changed up in the final minute.

Dont like it at all. it sounds like mediocre New Romance with dull post rock guitars
their worst by far

I love everything this band has done and that they're continuing to evolve. I'm totally fine if this is just one of the more mellower numbers or if the whole album is similar to this. Deafheaven can simply do no wrong.

Sounds ok, but It depends on how the whole album. Some of the tracks from the last album sound weak on their own, but it worked as a whole
