LLNN - 'Unmaker' Studio Album Coming In September
Today, Copenhagen's LLNN reveal the first glimpse of their forthcoming, unforgiving and vile album Unmaker to be unleashed on September 24th through Pelagic Records. Pre-orders begin July 12th.
LLNN commented on album: With this album we wanted to create our heaviest effort to date. Our most epic, sound designed, raw and honest effort to date.
"We wanted to write about abuse of power and inequality. About tyrants and cannon fodder. About how technology, in combination with certain power structures, is transforming humanity.
"This is an album inspired by some of the greatest classic sci-fi scores, movies and video games out there. An album driven by a sincere fascination of how cinematic music can evoke certain emotions and let our imagination unfold into abstract storytelling.
"How music can take our mind and soul on a journey into outer space and into unknown territories. In this trailer we showcase the process from the raw sound design field recordings to the final modulated audio files in combination with the rest of the band; guitar, bass, drums and screaming vocals.
"A production that took place at a blacksmith using various industrial machines. For instance we recorded a metal cutting circular saw and afterwards in post-production transformed and modulated these harsh sounds to become eerie thematic synth-harmonies.
"We are beyond excited to show the world our latest achievement. An album we call Unmaker."
