Forgotten Woods - Founding Member Passed Away
The mastermind and original member of the Norwegian black metal act Forgotten Woods, Olav Sigurd Berland, passed away a couple of weeks ago. He was 45 years old. Olav was also a long-time member of another Norwegian band, Joyless.

I've been listening through both Forgotten Woods and Joyless discography recently in honor of Olav. Two great experimental bands that really complement each other. Rest in peace.

But how do you know....?? Seriously though absolute legend and one of the founders of the dsbm genre (though he'd probably hate me calling it that) one of my favorite bands and my other favorite bands influence.
