Canadian progressive thrash metal legends DBC (Dead Brain Cells) just confirmed that Louis Levesque (formerly of E-Force and Entropy) has joined the band as the replacement of Marc Prevost, who had quit last July. Under this new lineup, also featuring guitarist Bill Thompson and founding members Phil Dakin (vocals, bass) and Eddie Shahini (guitar), DBC will tour and record their first album since 1989's Universe next year.

The band wrote on Facebook: "Great first jam [last night] with Louis Levesque on drums. Known for E-Force, Unruled, Rabid, Shiverdown, Entropy & Genetic Control. Looking forward to jam number 2!"
